BTS's Kim Taehyung aka V recently announced the release of his brand-new debut solo album, 'Layover,' slated for release on September 8. He also released two tracks from his album, 'Love Me Again' and 'Rainy Days' along with their music videos - which has had ARMYs going wild on Twitter. Not to mention, his gender-bending fashion photoshoots for magazines like W Korea and Arena! Kim Taehyung definitely knows how to keep his devoted fanbase on their toes.

The anticipation among ARMYs has reached a fever pitch as they await the solo debut album of Kim Taehyung, better known as V. Collaborating with renowned NewJeans producer Min Hee-jin, this release marks a significant milestone in V's artistic journey.

As ARMY awaits the release of the full album on September 8, V surprised us by featuring in NewJeans' TikTok video where he danced with the girl group to their popular track 'Hype Boy.'

Clad in an oversized checkered shirt and comfortable jog pants, V exhibited his trademark 'smooth like butter' dance style that fans have come to adore. Taehyung seemed at ease in the HYBE dance practice room (where he is probably spending several hours practising choreographies for his forthcoming album). He assumed the center position amongst the NewJeans members and effortlessly synchronized with their movements. The coming together of two Korean powerhouses - one established, and one fast-rising created an energetic performance infused with playfulness and passion. This TikTok video went viral and quickly became one of the most viewed social media clips today. A few days ago, BTS' Park Jimin also danced with NewJeans to their track 'ETA.' BTS actively make time to support their hoobaes (industry juniors) like TXT, SEVENTEEN and now NewJeans - no wonderthe septet is so widely loved!

The clip elicited many 'oohs' and 'aahs' from BTS's fervent admirers and X (previously known as Twitter) as erupted predictably once again. They nicknamed him Hype 'V'oy - and boy oh boy, has Taehyung gotten us even more 'hyped' for his album! Here's how ARMY is reacting -

As the countdown to September 8, 2023, intensifies, Taehyung has been blessing ARMY with new content almost everyday. Apart from several photos for luxury labels he is ambassador for like CELINE and Cartier, concept photos from 'Layover' are also being periodically released by BigHit, offering a glimpse into the artistic universe he is about to present to the world. This release comes as a culmination of V's musical journey, which includes previous songs such as 'Scenery,' 'Winter Bear,' and 'Snow Flower,' available on various streaming platforms.

V is the final member of the BTS group to embark on a solo musical voyage. Following the individual releases of J-hope, RM, Jimin, Suga, and Jungkook and Jin's singles (Astronaut and Seven respectively), V's album holds special significance for both the artist and his fans.

Hybe Boy is from NewJeans' debut album release in 2022. The girl group was lauded for their fresh and natural energy upon their debut.
