BTS's Kim Taehyung aka V attended the VIP premiere of 'Concrete Utopia' in Seoul earlier today. The film is an upcoming South Korean thriller based on the second part of webtoon Pleasant Bullying by Kim Sung-nik, which is about an earthquake and its aftermath and stars Taehyung's close friend Park Seojoon as one of its male protagonist. Taehyung and Seojoon are part of the famed WOOGA squad.

The WOOGA Squad is a friendship group originally formed by actor Park Seo-joon, who met V and Park Hyung-sik on the sets of “Hwarang” (2016). He later introduced them to Choi Woo-shik and Peakboy, officially forming the quintuplet. “WOOGA” is an abbreviation for “Woori-ga gajok-inka?” which translates to “Are we family?”, since the group spends a lot of time together.
Taehyung is the youngest member of the group, and the squad has often stated that the BTS member actively takes it upon himself to initiate and co-ordinate plans to meet and hangout. Being the supporting younger brother and social butterfly he is, Taehyung obviously showed up to support Seojoon!
V was photographed at the event and wore a simple yet classy outfit of a white t-shirt layered with a lacey red cardigan. Sporting his blond hair, elegant jewellery, blond hair and signature boxy smile, he looked like nothing less than royalty!
Taehyung is set to embark on a highly anticipated solo journey with his forthcoming album 'Layover,' slated for release on September 8. The announcement, revealed by V and BigHit Music, the label that manages the group, has triggered a wave of excitement among fans eager to witness V's individual artistic expression. The solo venture promises a collection of six captivating tracks, headlined by the mesmerizing lead single 'Slow Dancing.'
‘Slow Dancing’ embraces a romantic soul genre reminiscent of the 1970s, enveloping listeners in an atmosphere of tranquility and liberation. The forthcoming album has gained added allure due to the creation of music videos for each of the tracks, excluding the bonus track, a decision that has heightened fans' curiosity and anticipation.
BTS celebrated their 10th anniversary in June this year and have been on a hiatus as a group to pursue personal travels and solo musical projects and endeavours. Jungkook recently dropped the single 'Seven' from his highly anticipated first album, which is yet to be released. With this announcement, Taehyung has only riled up ARMYs even more!
The WOOGA squad is known to hang out a lot and go on several excursions together. They often post goofy pictures from their time together like this one in a swimming pool. The group became so beloved that they even starred in a reality show titled 'In The Soop: Friendcation.'
