BTS's Jungkook dropped his debut solo digital single 'Seven' on July 14, 2023. His mesmerizing vocals and visuals have taken ARMYs by storm. After participating in several international promotional activities, Jungkook recently returned to South Korea to perform 'Seven' in his home country. He teamed up with SEVENTEEN's Mingyu to post a hilarious dance challenge for his song.

Jungkook took to Weverse to surprise fans with a video of him dancing with Mingyu. Both of them dressed identically in black, white and capped off their look with sunglasses to twin in a bad boy/gangster vibe. Jungkook and Mingyu danced effortlessly, pulling off sleek moves that capture the sensual ethos of 'Seven.' At the end, Mingyu stopped suddenly because he forgot the dance moves and the video ended with Jungkook turning towards him in a classic 'huh, what just happened?' baby JK moment.

The video has been gaining a lot of traction on Twitter with fans elated that superstars from their favourite idol groups have reunited once again.

The two often team to dance together on BTS and SEVENTEEN's tracks. Earlier this year, Jungkook joined Mingyu for the 'SUPER Challenge.' After revealing that Jun (a member of SEVENTEEN's hip-hop/dance line) had taught him the dance, Jungkook teased Mingyu saying that he had asked him to film the challenge but hadn’t contacted him yet.

Jungkook is well-known for doing hour-long lives at ungodly hours of the night - and with Seven's release, the artist has been more active online than ever before. He recently also invited Mingyu as a guest on a surprise 4AM livestream

Jungkook and Mingyu are both part of the 97-liners group - a group of members across Kpop groups that share the same birth year, and hence who can drop honorifics and speak comfortably with each other. The 97-liners squad consists of nine members. BTS’ Jungkook, GOT7’s Yugyeom and BamBam, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, The8 and DK, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, NCT’s Jaehyun and recently added Stray Kids' Bang Chan. The squad is known for its wholesome friendship

Jungkook's 'Seven' has been garnerning a lot of praise from fans. He recently travelled to the US to kickstart the Good Morning America Summer Concert series with a live performance of the single - but the show stood cancelled due to thunderstorms in the Central Park area in NYC. He also appeared on other shows like BBC Live Lounge and BBC 'The One' show to give stunning renditions of not only 'Seven' but also other BTS songs
