As the South Korean boy band is set to celebrate its 11th debut anniversary, the ARMY in Mumbai is leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand affair at home either. Ayushree, who heads the fan club in the maximum city spoke exclusively to mid-day.com on the fun events planned for the D-day including the theme, and how everything is put together.

The Mumbai BTS club was formed in 2021 and the group has been organising K-culture and BTS-themed events, bringing fans together to celebrate their love for the septet comprising Jin, Jimin, J-hope, Jungkook, V, RM, and Suga. “Each ARMY is different and unique, but the whole fandom feels like a family. No matter where you’re from, we instantly connect and create unforgettable memories together,” says Ayushree.

The club head revealed that they have a dedicated team of 12 members who work tirelessly to make every event a success. Speaking about the 11th-anniversary celebration in Mumbai, she elaborated, “We’re excited to announce the 11th BTS Anniversary Festa, celebrated worldwide and in India, we are the ones hosting it across 11 cities in June. It's a wonderful opportunity for ARMYs to meet, enjoy, and have fun together with various engaging segments planned for these events. Our fantastic team takes care of everything, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone attending.”
The theme for the Mumbai event is ‘Bangtan Gala’. Ayushree explains, “Everyone will come in gowns and dresses, we have many K-pop cover groups performing like Weunite, Cygnus, Future Ninja, etc. There will also be a BTS concert screened with more activities like games, a fashion show, a photo booth with Korean traditional wear Hanbok, merch stalls, etc. We have Wish the Ipop group joining us for this celebration.”
When asked what the group loves about BTS the most, she concludes, “Just like them, we have grown and are still growing. BTS is truly inspiring, and their journey motivates us every day.”
