In this film, she not only delivers one of her finest performances till date — according to critics — but also manages to add frontal nudity to her resume
Set in Scotland, the film in question was shot mostly guerilla-style with non-actors sometimes unknowingly taking part in the film and Johansson had to improvise her conversations with random Scottish passersby while trying to not give away her identity.
At a press conference for the film in New York, the 29-year-old revealed that filming the nude scenes made her aware of her body image and how self-conscious one can be about the way one looks. "I had no idea how the scenes would be used in the film. The first time I saw it, I was terrified, partly because I didn't know how naked my performance would be figuratively. It's all about trust."
Scarlett is currently shooting for 'Lucy', scheduled to release in 2014.
