Lily Allen has revealed she was approached for Game of Thrones but she turned the role down because it involved an uncomfortable scene with her real brother, Alfie Allen. Speaking on the topic, the singer said that producers of the hit HBO series offered her a part opposite Alfie, who plays Theon Greyjoy.

The role had her playing Theon’s soldier sister Yara, whom he had not seen in years. However, the 29-year-old went on to explain how the story involved a scene that saw Theon trying to seduce his estranged sibling. “I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and s***,” Lily said. “Once they told me what entailed, I said, ‘no thanks.’”

The pop star was offered the part of Yara Greyjoy, but was put off by the raunchy scene. The controversial scene that involved Theon caressing Yara underneath her clothes as the pair ride on horseback.
Lily says she would still be open to appearing on the show in another way. Gemma Whelan ended up playing the part of fierce warrior Princess Yara Greyjoy, who Alfie’s character meets in season 2’s The Night Remembers.
