Indian-American actor Waris Ahluwalia wants airline to apologise for turban row

Waris stated his plight on Instagram by posting a picture of himself holding up his boarding pass and another in front of the customer service desk. He was reportedly asked to remove his turban.

Update. 13 hours later. Still in Mexico City. No traveler should be subjected to what I was today. All we're asking for from @aeromexico is an apology and education/training of the staff. #lovenotfear #FearisanOpportunitytoEducate

On Monday, Ahluwalia remained in Mexico City awaiting a flight to New York with another carrier.

He wants the airline to apologise and train its employees about turban-wearing travellers.
