Love's party was cut short when she tried to enter Neon Carnival's VIP area on Saturday evening April 16, but was swiftly ejected as it was obvious she'd had too much to drink, reported the New York Post.
"She went to Neon Carnival and got kicked out for being too drunk in the VIP area," a source said.
The 51-year-old singer attended the arts and music festival in Indio, California, earlier that day with her boyfriend, director Nick Jarecki, and watched the headline performance from the reunited classic line-up of Guns N' Roses -featuring Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan.
After dancing with Rihanna in the crowd, Love apparently followed the "Work" hitmaker to the airport hangar where the bash was being held and Rihanna's rumoured boyfriend Leo DiCaprio and Kesha were also continuing the party.
But when security saw the "sloppy" blonde star "falling over" they decided she wasn't in a fit state to join the others and had to be physically removed.
"She was literally falling over. It just became a little too sloppy, and she was removed. She wasn't coherent at all," the source added.
