Ultimately V’s grandfather had the final say and named him Kim Taehyung

The final episode of BTS’s ‘In the Soop 2’ aired last night and it was one that led to many interesting revelations. V aka Taehyung shared the story of how he got his name. V revealed that his father wanted to name him Kim Dowoo. Group leader RM joked that had it been his name, his stage name would be dough.
However, ultimately V’s grandfather had the final say and gave him the name of his choice- Kim Taehyung.
