Brazilian singer Danielle Fonseca Machado aka Dani Li has died at the age of 42. According to reports, the singer passed away due to complications during a liposuction surgery. The Sun reported that she underwent the operation on Friday. The liposuction was for her belly, and she had also planned a breast reduction; however, she faced severe complications, after which she was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead. Following the demise of the singer, her husband shared that her burial would take place on Saturday, today.

As per Metro, Dani's husband Marcelo Mira shared, “We are very shaken by all this. The burial will be on Saturday." The exact cause of her death is still unknown as of now, and an investigation has been ordered by the police officials.

After the singer's passing, her family posted on her official Instagram account, revealing that a ceremony would take place for all the fans who wish to pay their last respects to 'our star.'
"Due to the huge backlash from the departure of our Amazon Muse, the family has secured a bigger space to accommodate all those who wish to bid farewell to our star. Happening now at the City Council Chamber, located at 800 Fab Avenue, Central District. The time remains the same, from 6 pm," the statement reads.
According to a report by Estadão, senator of Amapa state Davi Alcolumbre said, “I deeply regret the death of the Amapá singer Dani Li, an artist who enchanted the stage with all her charisma and talent. In this time of deep sadness, I wish that family, fans, and friends find comfort and strength to face this loss. My feelings, may Dani Li shine forever in the memory and heart of all of us.”
Dani Li was a popular singer in Brazil who rose to fame with her hit song ‘Eu sou da Amazônia’ (I’m from the Amazon). She was born in Afuá in the Amazon jungle. Dani started her singing career when she was just 5 years old. At the age of 17, she moved to Macapá. She had a 7-year-old daughter with her husband Marcelo Mira.
