The former One Direction star has faced a tirade of abuse since arguing with ex-bandmate Louis Tomlinson on Twitter, but has insisted he hasn't done anything wrong and still loves his fans, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Zayn Malik wrote on micro-blogging website Twitter: "Don't know why I'm being attacked for defending myself, people got it twisted! I love my fans ?! Every single one of you x (sic)."
The tweet comes just a day after the 22-year-old singer publicly lashed out at Louis Tomlinson for feuding with producer Naughty Boy, who is working with zAyn Malik on his solo material.
Responding to negative comments made towards the producer by Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik wrote: "remember when you had a life and stopped making b***hy comments about mine?"
Following Zayn Malik's tweet, Naughty Boy, whose real name is Shahid Khan, added fuel to the fire by saying the 23-year-old singer has no vocal ability.
Naughty Boy wrote: "And some people can't even sing.. but who's complaining when there's auto tune eh."
