However, this trend is not restricted only to literary upshots — popular literature is in the reckoning, too. With the trailer of the upcoming film The Fault in Our Stars (TFiOS) becoming the most ‘liked’ one in online history, the coupling of Hollywood and pop-lit has gained much ground.

Based on award-winning author John Green’s novel of the same name, The Fault in Our Stars is a romantic comedy-drama which follows the life of Hazel Grace (played by Shailene Woodley), a teenager who falls in love for the first time with the enigmatic Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort) after meeting him at a cancer support group.
