Killing Eve, featuring Grey's Anatomy star Sandra Oh, has been officially picked by the BBC. The thriller comes from the "Fleabag" creator and award-winning writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The eight-part series will premiere on BBC One and BBC Three later this year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Oh stars in the eponymous role as a bored MI5 security officer who feels chained to her desk job and wants to fulfil her fantasies of being a spy. When Eve is tasked with tracking down a fierce assassin Villanelle before she can strike again, the two women end up against each other in a cat-and-mouse game, yielding an unseen twist to the quintessential spy thriller.
Jodie Comer portrays Villanelle. The show also stars Fiona Shaw, David Haig, Kim Bodnia, Darren Boyd, Sean Delaney, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Owen McDonnell. The series is based on the Villanelle novellas by Luke Jennings.
