As UNICEF ambassador, Priyanka Chopra visited Syrian refugees in Jordan recently and documented the experience on social media. This has propelled the actor to the No 1 position on the chart which ranks the most popular actors, based on data from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus.

The actor made her way back to The Hollywood Reporter's Top Actors chart. The Quantico star had occupied the top spot in June this year.

The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended September 12.

PeeCee's Baywatch co-star Dwayne Johnson, who had led the Top Actors chart for the previous three weeks (and 10 weeks in all), falls to No 2, while Tom Holland (No 4) and Ashley Benson (No 6) break back into the top 10.
