Justin Bieber shares cryptic post: 'I have been drowning feeling unsafe'

Pop star Justin Bieber posted a long post in which he admitted that he felt like he was "drowning" and that he must strive to "let hate go." "I was always told when I was a kid not to hate," he wrote, adding, "But it made me feel like I wasn't allowed to have it, and so I didn't tell anyone I've had it," he continued, referring to hate, reported People. Bieber then said that hiding the hate made him feel like "I have been drowning feeling unsafe to acknowledge it" "I think we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it there," he wrote, adding, "How couldn't we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced," he concluded his cryptic post. Last week the singer also used his Instagram Stories to open up about times he has previously doubted himself, as per the outlet. "People told me my whole life 'Wow Justin u deserve that' and I personally have always felt unworthy," Bieber posted. "Like I was a fraud, Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, Damn if only they knew my thoughts." Justin, who welcomed son Jack Blues with wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber, 28, in August, first sparked concerns among fans over his health after they noticed alleged changes in his physical appearance and behaviour in February, reported People. However, a statement shared by a member of the couple's team later denied the rumours, stating that the narrative about Justin's health and drug use is false. They also mentioned that the rumours about his drug use are "exhausting and pitiful," adding that "despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive," reported People. Millie Bobby Brown opens up about tying the knot at a very young age

Hollywood actress Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi exchanged wedding vows at a young age, but their decision to tie the knot was a long time coming. After Alex Cooper asked the actress when she realised she could “actually see a future” with Jon Bon Jovi’s 22-year-old son, whom she married in a private ceremony in May 2024 at age 20, the actress reflected on what exactly led the couple to marriage, reports ‘People’ magazine. She said during the latest episode of ‘Call Her Daddy’, “We’ve been together for four years, so I guess maybe when we moved in together. We had dogs together, and we were taking care of our animals, and we started living this day-to-day life, and I thought, ‘Oh, I really don’t think I could ever see you as anything else. I don’t want to be with anyone else ever again. I don’t want to date, I don’t want to meet anyone, I want you’”. As per ‘People’, it was the couple’s conversations about the way they see the world and how they want to start a family, among other things that let Brown know Jake was the one. Only she didn’t know at the time if he felt the same way. “When we started talking about politics and how we want to raise our kids … we started talking about really, really big things that I’d obviously never spoken about, and I’m already very young, so I’ve never spoken about that with boys anyway”, the ‘Stranger Things’ star told Cooper. “But to be able to even think about those things, I was like, ‘S---. Okay, maybe I do want to be with him forever.' ” “But I obviously didn’t know if he felt that way”. “We talked about marriage, but I didn’t really know when it was going to be. And then, when he proposed, I was like, it makes sense. Everything aligned”, she added. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. Fans last saw Alex in a legacy cameo in 2011's Final Destination 5, but he was revealed by his former girlfriend Clear Rivers (Ali Larter) in 2003's Final Destination 2 to have died sometime between the events of the first and second films, reported People. Despite his character's death, Sawa shared that "for sure return" to the Final Destination franchise in some capacity "if that opportunity ever came up." The first film, released in 2000, starred Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Seann William Scott and Tony Todd, according to People. The film is directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein and written by Jon Watts, Guy Busick, and Lori Evans Taylor. It is based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick. A synopsis for Bloodlines says this entry "takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death's twisted sense of justice," as per the outlet. "Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all," the logline teases, as per the outlet. The cast includes Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger and Todd, who died in November 2024 at age 69, reported People. 'Final Destination Bloodlines' is in theatres on May 16. Kanye West drops new song apparently featuring Sean 'Diddy' Combs, North West

Rapper Kanye West dropped a new song apparently featuring Sean 'Diddy' Combs, his daughter North West, Diddy's son King Combs and artist Jasmine William. The rapper shared more than four-minute-long track titled 'Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine' on his X account. "LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE new song by PUFF DADDY feat. His son KING COMBS my daughter NORTH WEST and new Yeezy artist from Chicago Jasmine William," West wrote in the post, as per The Hollywood Reporter. The song starts with a recording of a phone conversation between disgraced rapper Diddy and West. "I wanna just thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man," a voice believed to be Diddy can be heard saying. "Ain't nobody reach out to them, ain't nobody call them." West responded, "Absolutely, I love you so much, man. You raised me. Even when I ain't know you, know what I'm saying?" North appears to rap, "Doing everything I wanted, that's the key to life / When you see me shining, then you see the light," as per the outlet. West shared screenshots of a text conversation between himself and North's mother, Kim Kardashian, which have since been deleted from the rapper's X account. In the text exchange, Kardashian allegedly told West that she trademarked their 11-year-old daughter's name in an attempt to stop 'Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine' from being released to the public, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sean "Diddy" Combs has been charged with sex trafficking and racketeering a day after federal agents arrested him in Manhattan in September. Prosecutors accuse Sean "Diddy" Combs of forcing women to take part in "highly orchestrated performances" that he called "freak-offs." These "freak-offs" allegedly involved male sex workers, and prosecutors claim that Combs arranged for women and sex workers to be flown to his location. The indictment also alleges that Combs made sure the women participated by giving them drugs, using his power over their careers, threatening to cut off financial support, and using violence and intimidation. Prosecutors say that since 2009, Combs has assaulted several women. One incident in 2016, at a hotel in Los Angeles, allegedly involved Combs "kicking, dragging, and throwing a vase" at a woman. According to the indictment, this was caught on camera, and prosecutors claim Combs tried to bribe a hotel staff member to keep quiet. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently in jail awaiting trial, which is set to begin in May. West, who has been criticized recently for his hate-filled rants on social media and for selling a T-shirt with a Nazi swastika on the front, has previously defended Combs, stating that the rapper should be freed from prison. The pair collaborated on music earlier in their careers, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. 'Life of Chuck' first teaser: Actor Tom Hiddleston set to face apocalypse

The much-awaited first teaser for 'The Life of Chuck' has been released, giving fans a sneak peek of Tom Hiddleston's character, reported The Hollywood Reporter. The film, directed by Mike Flanagan, is based on Stephen King's novella and tells the story of Charles "Chuck" Krantz, a man whose death coincides with the end of the world. The teaser begins with Hiddleston's character walking through a mall before shifting to a scene where he appears deep in thought, wearing a suit and glasses. In a voice-over, Chuck says, "The universe is large, and it contains multitudes, but... it also contains me." The line hints at the film's message of finding joy even in difficult times. The movie follows an unusual storytelling style, presenting Chuck's life in reverse order--starting from his death and moving backward to his early years. The teaser also gives a glimpse of actors Jacob Tremblay and Benjamin Pajak, who play younger versions of Chuck. The apocalyptic undertones in the trailer add a sense of mystery and suspense. Apart from Tom, the film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Matthew Lillard, Mia Sara, Carl Lumbly, Kate Siegel, Mark Hamill, and Heather Langenkamp. A still from The Electric State

The Electric State Movie Review: Puts you in a state of unease

The Electric StateCast: Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Woody Harrelson, Ke Huy Quan, Giancarlo Esposito, Stanley Tucci, Anthony Mackie, Brian CoxDirector: Joe Russo, Anthony RussoRating: 2/5 “The Electric State,” the new movie directed by Joe and Anthony Russo for Netflix, is a retrograde sci-fi that tells a post-apocalyptic tale that highlights how humanity triumphs even at a time when robots and humans are at war with each other. Adapted in slapdash fashion by MCU collaborators Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely from the 2018 illustrated novel of the same name by Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag, the film fails to be likable because it is annoying. It begins with the alternate-universe history of the 1990s, including a war with robots, and goes on from there. After the war, robots are now outlawed. But Millie Bobby Brown’s Michelle, discovers that the consciousness of her much-beloved brother Chris, who died in an accident, is residing in a bot named Cosmo. A series of clues tells Michelle she needs to get to a remote and, forbidden spot called “The Exclusion Zone.” She is also wanting to escape from her abusive dad (Jason Alexander) who is addicted to a virtual-reality headset. So she sets off with Cosmo and soon enlists a scavenger outlaw (Chris Pratt) to help, albeit reluctantly. Ethan Skate(Stanley Tucci), an evil tech mogul who owns all the towers that run the headsets also has a private army of human-controlled legal robots called drones. And he is doing his best to wipe out the robot threat. The story is rather implausible and the Russo’s storytelling style puts you off. Millie Bobby Brown, as Michelle is gravitating but Pratt doesn’t appear to have come out of his “Guardians of the Galaxy” mode. Star voices of the robots, including Woody Harrelson, Jenny Slate, Anthony Mackie, and Brian Cox have little effect. Man vs. machine in a retro-futuristic adventure is neither exciting nor scary. The narrative keeps busy but makes very little sense. Adventure, comedy and sentiment don’t mesh well here. Vintage rock numbers from Tom Petty, The Clash, Judas Priest and pop instrumentals like “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Wonderwall” and “I Will Survive” only act as window dressing. The distinct lack of tension and cursory profiling provides blithe unemotional stakes. This is rather disappointing fare.

Still from the film

A Looney Tunes review- Old fashioned animation that’s sure to make you smile

Cast: Eric Bauza, Candi Milo, Peter MacNicol, Fred Tatasciore, Laraine Newman, Wayne Knight, Ruth Clampett, Andrew Kishino Director: Peter Browngardt Rating: 2.5/5 Runtime: 91 min. This old fashioned animation slapstick comedy begins with vignettes from Porky and Daffy’s childhood days and there’s added montage of their disastrous attempts to find employment, typically classic Looney Tunes in style. The script for this film is credited to 11 writers, and involves an outlandish plot involving an alien mind-control scheme by which chewing gum infected with extraterrestrial goo threatens to turn earthlings into zombies. The screenplay manages to remain elastic and spry. It’s strip-happy and loony enough. We also get to know that the stuttering pig and duck-billed blabbermouth, share a two-story house bequeathed by Farmer Jim, the supportive father figure who took both of them under his wing when they were kids. Then a planet-endangering asteroid and a CG flying saucer, which sends a big glob of glowing goo smashing through Porky and Daffy’s roof. The employment search happens because they have to fix the roof which costs much more than their accumulated savings. Porky and Daffy eventually get jobs at a bubblegum factory. And that’s where all that world destroying action originates from. To top that a mad Scientist dumps a briefcase full of goo  into the formula for Goodie Gum’s latest flavor, Super Strong Berry. The goo apparently has the power to turn humans into zombies. So that’s another catastrophe about to happen. Soon the entire world is sampling Super strong berry, thus taking over their brains and making them susceptible to Invader’s commands. Daffy, a hysterical conspiracy nut, is unable to convince the world that Goodie Gum has been compromised by space aliens. So Daffy, Porky and newfound love interest Petunia Pig (Candi Milo) have the onus of saving the planet themselves. Together, they make a great team. The feature directorial debut of Peter Browngardt is animated in the typical classic loony tunes style. It’s not consistently funny but it has its moments of hilarity, is imaginative, and sometimes borders on brilliance. The animation has strong background and fluid, expressive movement. “The Day the Earth Blew Up” has striking imagery and is inventive about its sci-fi/disaster/zombie movie trappings. The wit and humour hare may not be uproarious but the wild story and antics are sure to bring a smile to your face.
