Los Angeles: Harrison Ford wont face punishment for mistakenly landing his private plane on a taxiway at John Wayne Airport in Orange County here earlier this year.
Ford's attorney Stephen Hofer said in a statement that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has "closed its inquiry" of the incident and found that "no administrative or enforcement action was warranted", reports variety.com.
"Mr. Ford retains his pilot's certificate without restriction," Hofer said in the statement.
FAA took the decision keeping in mind Ford's "history of compliance" with the Federal Aviation Regulations and his "cooperative attitude during the investigation".
