A Los Angeles court ordered Lohan to do 125 hours of community service as part of her probation in February, due to her reckless driving case in 2012. The "Mean Girls" star has completed nine hours and 45 minutes of her community service so far.
Earlier this month, the star posted a picture on Instagram showing her community service work in London.
Lohan was ordered to do the remaining hours of community service at a preschool in Brooklyn, Duffield Children's Center. Otherwise, it is not counted as community service. The deadline of the completion was set on May 28, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Lohan reportedly attempted to do the community service from her apartment by making Facebook posts for a local charity. However, the judge deplored her effort by explaining that the community service could not be completed virtually.
Her 125-hour community service was given after the judge found the documentation for her previous 240 hours of community service was not entirely valid.
The court was unhappy as Lohan didn't seem to take the community service seriously. In the documentation, she claimed a meet-and-greet with her fans as a part of community service.
