Liam Payne, who is currently basking in the success of his debut solo single Strip That Down and the birth of his three-month-old son Bear with singer Cheryl Cole, ended up saying more than he intended in a recent interview.

Speaking to DJ Roman Kemp at the Capital Summertime Ball, the former One Direction singer revealed how Cheryl had been giving him tips about his solo career. Asked about the most important tip that she has offered so far, Liam said, “Bigger is better”.

Realising his double entendre a tad late, Liam seemed a bit embarrassed. “I don't know how to take that really. I walked right into that one,” he said. As Kemp laughed at the comment, he went on to offer a little too much information: “I've had no complaints in that department.”
