Kim Kardashian shrugged off her recent magazine cover controversy to celebrate singer Ciara's baby shower

Kim Kardashian got in some practice donning head to toe white ahead of her upcoming wedding to Kanye West as she attended singer Ciara's white-themed baby shower on Saturday.

Kim and her beau are all set to be featured on the covered of Vogue for next month's edition and this decision didn't go too well with several Americans — including influential people who found the couple's picture on the cover unsuitable to the readership.
So much so Sarah Michelle Gellar (of Buffy The Vampire fame) blasted the magazine’s editor for her controversial decision by tweeting, “Well......I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???” Interestingly, she wasn’t the only one harbouring this opinion. There were others too.
However, all that was last week.
During the weekend, Kim seemed to have moved on as she arrived at a private Beverly Hills residence for the festivities without a hint of apprehension. While the 33-year-old’s fiancé and nine-month-old daughter may not have been with her, she kept them close by wearing her gold nameplate necklace and, of course, her dazzling 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring.
