Los Angeles: 'The Big Bang Theory' star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, who tied the knot with tennis-player Ryan Sweeting just two months back, said she always wanted to add husband's surname.

The 28-year-old star said she decided to take her husband's last name as 'it was a respectful thing to do', reported E!Online.

"I felt like I really wanted to do that, I felt it was a respectful thing to do. And it happens to be an adorable last name" she said.

The actor, who dated her husband for just three months before tying the knot, said she is in the best phase of her life.

"We couldn't be happier. Truly, we couldn't be happier. It was meant to be. It's the best moments of my life," she said.
