James Franco attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards - his first public appearance since he was accused of sexual harassment. Franco, who was a no-show earlier this month during the 2018 Critics' Choice Awards, however, chose to skip the red carpet. 'The Disaster Artist' star was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role at the SAG Awards but lost to 'Darkest Hour's Gary Oldman.
Allegations of sexual misconduct involving the 39-year-old emerged in force during the Golden Globes, where Franco won best actor, musical or comedy for his role as Tommy Wiseau. Meanwhile Aziz Ansari, who was accused of sexual misconduct by a woman he went on a date with, gave the show a miss.
The 'Master of None' star was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a comedy series. William H. Macy bested Ansari in the category for his role in 'Shameless.'
