Days after it was announced that Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson will feature in an upcoming remake of 'Baywatch', Pamela Anderson has reportedly said that it was a bad idea to turn the hit '90s TV show into a movie and that "it's going to suck".

The blonde bombshell, who shot to fame with her role in Baywatch, is believed to have said that "no one appreciates the remakes" after reports about the reboot surfaced. She added that the '90s were a "simpler, sweeter time" for TV, but cut to the present, it won't work on the big screen.

And whether the producers have asked her to be part of the new movie is anybody's guess. Pam, though, had starred in the 2003 reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.

The just-announced film will be helmed by Seth Gordon and will take the form of a buddy comedy in which a straight-laced lifeguard (Johnson) is forced to unite with a youthful rule-breaking newcomer (Efron) when the beach they both love faces destruction following the avaricious attentions of a nefarious oil tycoon.
