Popular telly actor Gaurav Chopra to lend his voice to Hindi version of Chris Hemsworth starrer 'Thor'
After Varun Dhawan lent his voice to the Hindi version of Chris Evans' Civil War last year, popular TV actor Gaurav Chopra has now been roped in to be the voice of Chris Hemsworth in his latest release, Thor: Ragnarok. "This is the first time I am dubbing for anyone. It's not an easy task," he says.

In a classic case of lost in translation, most dubbed versions end up having dialogues that are laughable. Point this out to him and he says that he has provided several inputs to make the dialogues as relevant as possible. "We discussed every line before dubbing it. I'm sure it won't sound cheesy. For instance, in a scene, Thor compliments a girl on her hair. In the dubbed version, initially, they had made it, 'Your hair is looking nice. Did you get it washed at Dhobi ghat?' I put my foot down that the line had to change and they agreed.

I cannot take much credit, but I've changed quite a bit." Chopra adds that Suchitra Pillai will be joining the voice cast, lending her voice to Cate Blanchett's character.
