Illustrator E. H. Shepard's original sketch of Winnie the Pooh is all set to go under the hammer and expected to sell for 50,000 pounds.
The pencil drawing, which shows the animated characters playing Poohsticks, still has a perforated edge from where Shepard ripped it from his sketchbook, the Daily Express reported.
The 9in by 5in sketch, which has emerged after 87 years, is owned by a friend of the artist’s wife. The illustration will be auctioned off at Sotheby’s in London on December 10.u00a0
