"Captain America" star Chris Evans lost a role in the 2007 movie "Fracture" to actor Ryan Gosling.
The 30-year-old actor missed out on a role opposite "Hannibal" star Anthony Hopkins as Gosling wanted the part, reported Contactmusic. "I really wanted that movie.

I had a really good audition and the director and I had gotten along incredibly well. He called me and said, 'Listen, you're my guy for this thing'.
But Ryan was on the way up as well, and I think he must read it and liked it," he said. "Fracture", starring Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling, is a legal-crime suspense film directed by Gregory Hoblit and was released in 2007.
