Recently, there were reports of Game Of Thrones makers commissioning four spin-offs of the cult show. But American screenwriter-filmmaker Brian Helgeland, who is working on one, says his story has very little to do with GoT.
"The story I am involved with doesn't have any of the current characters of Game of Thrones. George (RR Martin, author of the book GoT is based on) had several notes when he was writing the book. So, my spin off is set thousands of years before GoT's story happened," he says.
Helgeland's last directorial venture, Legend, is set to air on Sony Le Plex this evening. The film revolves around the notorious Kray Brothers and the myths about them.
