According to sources, China has banned the band's gig after they featured images of exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama in a video that played with several concerts, including one in Washington in 2010.
As per insiders, the ban could be due to rock band's use of images that were offensive to the Ministry of Culture in one of their music videos.
The clip released by the band for 2009 single 'We Weren't Born to Follow' incorporated the footage from the 1989 Tiananmen Square Protests.
