A painting created by late singer Amy Winehouse and her rocker friend Pete Doherty using their own blood has fetched USD 56,000 at auction.
The joint artwork, titled Ladylike, was unveiled by The Libertines frontman Doherty at an exhibition earlier this year and was put up for auction in London alongside other personal effects, including guitars and diaries, reported Contactmusic.
The bizarre artwork was sold for USD 56,000 on May 11, much lower than the USD 128,000 it was expected to sell for. A portion of profits from the sale will be donated to The Amy Winehouse Foundation, a charity set up after the Rehab singer's death last year.u00a0
