Adam Shankman will the direct the "What Women Want" remake, starring actor Taraji P Henson in the lead. The film, titled "What Men Want", will have Henson play the role of a sports agent, who gains the power to hear men's thoughts, reported Variety.
Released in 2000, "What Women Want" was directed by Nancy Meyers and featured Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt in the lead. The new project will be produced by Will Packer and James Lopez with Henson as executive producer. The shooting on the film is expected to start soon. It is scheduled to release in January next year.
