Fox broadcasting company is apparently collaborating with Archie comics to develop the modern-day one-hour drama “Riverdale” based on the characters from the strip, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

Set in the fictional town of Riverdale, New York, the TV series will focus on the love triangle of Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge.

Warner Bros. TV-based Berlanti Productions will produce the project, while Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will write it.

The show will also feature characters like Reggie Mantle, Jughead Jones, Kevin Keller, and Josie.
