The bypoll for the assembly constituency of Andheri east is underway. Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena faction`s candidate Rutuja Latke is expected to win comfortably following the withdrawal of the BJP`s candidate. The bypoll was necessitated due to the death of Rutuja Latke’s husband and Shiv Sena MLA Ramesh Latke in May this year. A lot of political drama surrounded the run-up to the bypoll, as Rutuja Latke`s resignation from the (BMC) was delayed. The counting will happen on Nov 6
