Diljit Dosanjh’s recently released biopic, Soorma is based on legendary Indian hockey player Sandeep Singh. Sandeep was hit by a stray bullet while travelling in Shatabdi Express and was paralysed. However, he made a comeback to the Indian Hockey team after two years. The film also stars Tapsee Pannu who plays Diljit’s love interest and Angad Bedi as his brother in the film.
