Filmmaker Raj Kaushal, who directed movies like 'Shaadi Ka Laddoo and 'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi', passed away early Wednesday morning following a heart attack. He was in his 50s. Kaushal was married to actor-TV presenter Mandira Bedi. The couple has two children, son Vir and daughter Tara. Raveena Tandon among a host of other celebrities rushed in to pay their respect and offer their condolences to Mandira and family.
For the uninitiated, Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal adopted Tara during the first wave of a pandemic outbreak. The duo was excited to share the news when their younger daughter accepted them as a family.

Ashish Chowdhry also came in to offer his condolence to Mandira Bedi and her family. Ashish shared an emotional note on his Instagram remembering Raj Kaushal and wrote, "My big brother, my guiding light, my happy quotient, my pamper-me-lots person, is gone. My brother who supported me fiercely like my sister Monica who I also lost, is gone. But yet, he’s filled positivity and gratitude real hard in me. He’s taught me well. To survive any storm. And I’ll do the same today. For him. I love you forever, my Rajiee. Until then my bro. Until we meet again. [sic]"
Raj Kaushal's last directorial was the 2006 thriller, 'Anthony Kaun Hai?', starring Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt. Raj Kaushal is survived by his wife Mandira and kids - Vir and Tara.

Rohit Roy on his Twitter handle mourned the loss of Raj Kaushal one of his oldest friends. Rohit wrote, "One of my oldest, closest friends passes by and I can’t even be there at the funeral…can’t even see him okie last time…can’t pay my respects in person…and people think an actors job is all cushy and fun! It’s the most unenviable job in the world at times… @rajkaushal1 RIP [sic]"
Music composer Sulaiman Merchant and his wife also came in to pay their respects to Raj Kaushal.
