Kiara's role in 'Lust Stories' was first offered to Kriti Sanon
While speaking about 'Lust Stories' and how it made Kiara stand out as an actor in the series, Karan Johar revealed that he had a hard time finding someone to play the part. He said that he first offered the part to Kriti Sanon.
Karan said, "I had offered it to Kriti Sanon, the role...and she said that her mom didn't allow her."
Kiara Advani says she wants Alia Bhatt in her bride squad
In the rapid-fire round, Karan asked Kiara which celebrity would she love to have in her bride squad, and Kiara, very fondly answered, "Alia Bhatt". Kiara said, "I'd really love Alia Bhatt to be in my bride squad. I love her, she is so cute." Karan then got confused, and said, "In your bride squad? Marrying Sidharth Malhotra?" He then said, "Marrying Sidharth Malhotra with Alia Bhatt in the bride's quad is quite cool". It's important to highlight here that Sidharth and Alia were rumoured to be dating while they were shooting for their film 'Kapoor and Sons'.
When Kiara embarassed herself at Juhi Chawla's party
During the Koffee Bingo segment, Kiara Advani has check marked the box of embarrassing herself at a party. Kiara said, “So, basically, Juhi Chawla, she is a very close family friend. She knew I wanted to get into the movies. She had done the movie I Am (2010), which won the National Award, for which they had a party. She invited me because she wanted to introduce me to the director (Sujoy Ghosh). She knew I was aspiring to be an actor. So, I went, I was quite young. I was having this conversation with the director, and it was a busy crowded party. He was standing here (made a gesture using her hands) and I was standing here and talking, and he lifted his hand. I thought it was the end of the conversation, and we should hug and say bye. But he was calling somebody else. And I had gone for a hug.”
She said, “Juhi aunty just looked at me like ‘what is she doing’? And I said ‘oh God’… That was awkward.” Kiara continued, “Luckily, Sujoy Sir does not remember this story.”
Kiara Advani reveals how she met Sidharth Malhotra for the first time
Kiara said, "Sid and I know each other from before we were cast in Shershaah." Karan then intervened and said, "Yes, much before", to which Kiara replied and said, "Yes at the wrap party of Lust Stories which we crashed." Karan then narrated their first meeting and said, "We crashed a friend's house and the cast of Lust Stories as we had and Sid also came to the party and that's where you (Kiara) and Sid met for the first time."

Talking about his arranged marriage with Mira, someone who is not from the film industry, the actor said, "So for me, it was very simple. I have two very distinct sides to myself. One is obviously what people see of me being an actor, and from the fraternity, and the glitz and the glamour, you know all that. And then I also have a very homely and spiritual side to myself. I have a deep faith and I am vegetarian. I don't drink. You know, I have all those things, so, I always found it difficult to come across somebody, who would be able to understand both sides of me. And I really struggled with that and I was 34 and I was kind of ready to settle down because I had been living on my own for over ten years and just at that time, through family and through friends everything came up but it just happened and we met and it's the best thing that happened in my life. And I feel she brings so much into my world and she balances me out and she makes me feel very normal and we have beautiful children. And I am very thankful for that."
