Very few know that Kainaat Arora is the cousin sister of late Bollywood actress Divya Bharti. Divya, who passed away at a very young age, was Kainaat's second cousin.
Kainaat always wanted to become an actress. "I always knew that I wanted to be an actress... since I was six years old! After my college, I was getting offers for advertisements. I also walked the ramp for many designers. Everything was happening on its own and I never planned much. I was working without a portfolio," she was quoted saying in an interview.
In 2010, Kainaat Arora made her silver screen debut with Akshay Kumar-starrer Khatta Meetha and danced with the Khiladi in the Aila Re track. She even had a cameo in the Tamil film Mankatha, starring Ajith.
However, Kainaat Arora maintained a low profile in Bollywood, and only three years later, she made her acting debut with Grand Masti.
Kainaat Arora in a candid chat said that she always wanted to foray into the acting world in the comedy genre. Other than comedies, she loves romantic films and says she would have always chosen either one of them for her first film.
When Kainaat Arora signed Grand Masti, she had taken along Divya Bharti's parents, who were very happy for her as she forayed in the film industry, just like her sister.
Two years after Grand Masti, Kainaat was seen in the Malayalam film Lailaa o Lailaa, followed by Mogali Puvvu (a Telugu film), and Faraar (a Punjabi film).
Despite making a debut in three regional film industries in 2015, Kainaat's acting career failed to take off. She also crooned tracks in several Malayalam films, but she did not taste success, here as well.
Not many know that Kainaat Arora has also done a course in merchandising from the National Institute of Fashion.
Kainaat Arora was one of the judges of the Miss Kerala Pageant and keeps herself updated about the fashion industry.
In 2017, Kainaat Arora shared this picture of herself, dressed in a cop's attire from her Punjabi film. Little did she know that the picture would go viral with people mistaking her for a real policewoman.
The picture posted by Kainaat as a cop named Harleen Mann was her character from her Punjabi film titled 'Jaaga Jiunda E' by Mika Singh. Kainaat cleared up the confusion of netizens in another post.
Kainaat Arora posted the following regarding the viral picture, in 2017, 'Dear People ... harleen maan is my character name in the film #jaggajiundae. it's just a #film .. my phone memory is bombarded with forwards Frm al over d world, people sending messages jokes: ready to get arrested etc. I Am no REAL POLICE... 3 days and stil this photo is viral across the continent (sic)'
