Speaking about Ananya's look Arpita said, "She's wearing a blouse in gold, with a cream ruffle saree. It is something even I would wear, it is a easy-breezy look and a ruffle saree is simple but impactful. You just have to zip it up, throw it on and you have an instant glam look."
When it comes to Malaika's stunning kaftan, Arpita said, "Our kaftans are a fun silhoutte, it's a classic and availiable all year round. Here's Malaika wearing our mango-abstract print kaftan in 'Moving in with Malaika.' It's one of the most comfortable silhouttes that you could be wearing at home like her or on a holiday, even at a mehendi with big chunky earrings."
Arpita who recently tied the knot with fellow designer Kunal Rawal, also spoke about her own bridal look. She said, "I'm wearing a cream and gold mirrorwork lehenga, we got about 18 thousand mirrors sewed onto the lehenga."
Sharing some advice for brides this season, Arpita said, "This year has been about the colour palette of ivory and gold. It's a classic, timeless colour combination. While red has always been a favourite, all the brides I've done this season have been ivory and old. In today's day and age they want to wear something opulent yet subtle."
Moving on to accessories, the designer said, "I've been someone who loves jewellery, be it fashion or fine. If I'm doing fine jewellery I like bigger pieces of polki over smaller polki styles. If I'm doing fashion jewellery then I like wearing stackable gold."
