A massive crowd assembled at the Malla Reddy University ground on Monday night for the pre-release event of Animal, an upcoming Hindi film by Sandeep Reddy Vanga
The entire team of Animal was present for the grand event. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Bhushan Kumar were all smiles ahead of the event in Hyderabad
Bobby Deol who plays the antagonist in the film reportedly plays a mute character. At the event, Anil Kapoor said that the film will change Bobby's life forever and he will become a big superstar. Kapoor also gave a speech in Telugu and said he made his debut with a Telugu film 43 years ago
Rashmika Mandanna who plays Geetanjali in the film looked stunning in a lemon yellow saree for the event

Ranbir Kapoor wore a brown jacket for the event. He was seen chatting away with Mahesh Babu while seated in the audience. He later showered praise on the people present at the event. He was also seen touching Rajamouli's feet on the filmmaker's arrival
Mahesh Babu arrived as the chief guest of the event. At the event, Bobby Deol recalled being present at Mahesh Babu's first film's muhurat on the invitation of Babu's father
Mahesh Babu and Ranbir Kapoor's mutual admiration club was one of the cherised moments of the night. "I have told him this before also when I met him but I don't think he took me seriously. So today, on this stage, I'm saying that I'm a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan and in my opinion, he is the best actor in India," Mahesh Babu said
Ranbir Kapoor, too, praised Mahesh Babu and said, "You were the first superstar Mahesh Babu I ever met. I remember messaging him after watching Okkadu and he replied, and I cant thank you enough for supporting sir”
The 'RRR' director Rajamouli also declared Ranbir as his favourite actor, confidently stating, "Without hesitation, I'll tell you, my favorite actor is Ranbir Kapoor"
At the event, Rajamouli asked Ranbir to choose between him and Sandeep if he had to work on a film. After much consideration, Ranbir said, "I am a loyal actor so I will stay with Sandeep right now"
Animal will be released in theatres worldwide on December 1
