Asked if she feels the pressure to sustain in the industry especially because she comes from a film family, Ananya told: "I think I do, because my father has such good comic timing. So, that is something that I always hear that, ‘Did you inherit that comedy from your father?' "My character in the film (SOTY 2) is also pretty funny and she give these one-liners, so I think the pressure is there especially in the comedy department which I will try to hopefully live up to".
Tara Sutaria was all smile as she posed for the photographers at The Student Of The Year 2 promotions. Tara wore denim striped top and denim shorts. Tara hails from a non-filmy background, and during the promotions of Student Of The Year 2, during an interaction, she said that being an outsider, she respects Kangana Ranaut and considers her as a role model.
When asked a reason for the same, Tara Sutaria said that Kangana had achieved everything on the basis of her talent, without any support whatsoever. Tara feels that Ms Ranaut was a role model for outsiders and inspired her.
Student of The Year 2 is a sequel to Student of the Year (2012), which marked the acting debuts of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra. Both Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria are excited to be making their debut with this Punit Malhotra directorial, which hits the screens on May 10, 2019.
Tiger Shroff arrives for the promotional event of the Student Of The Year 2. The actor recently said his image as an action hero and the fact that he is not versatile has given him an identity in the film industry. Tiger told the media: "I am not at all versatile and I look at it as a positive thing. I already have an identity of an action hero in the Hindi film industry where there is so much competition. When people talk about action heroes of the present time, one of the names could be Tiger Shroff. Yes, I am typecast but this whole thing has given me an identity and made me stand out. It makes me feel good."
Punit Malhotra, who took over the baton from Karan Johar reveals that the USP of the film is its action and the sport. Explaining about it, he said, "While in the original film, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra had been champion swimmers and sprinters, this time one of the students, Tiger Shroff, is a serious kabaddi player. Kabaddi is a sport that belongs to our heartland and it's very rooted to our culture. No one has really seen it too much on screen and it's a very macho sport." On the other hand, Tiger Shroff is known for his hard work and dedication. The actor took special kabaddi training to play the part.
