The actress looked stunning in a fiery red tunic and matching palazzos by Gulabo by Abu Sandeep. She paired her outfit with chandelier earrings and red mojaris.
Accompanying Sonam at the promotion of the movie was her co-star Dulquer Salmaan. The Malayalam star was dashing in a grey casual blazer paired with black joggers and a black t-shirt.
Dulquer Salmaan was all smiles when clicked at The Zoya Factor promotions in a plush hotel in Juhu.
The Zoya Factor is based on Anuja Chauhan's novel by the same name. It's about an advertising professional, Zoya Solanki (Kapoor), who chances upon the Indian cricket team and the captain, Nikhil Khoda (Salmaan), through her job. She ends up becoming the lucky charm for the team in their matches.
Sonam recently spoke about her own lucky charm. She said, "I have always worked well with people from the South. My first successful film which changed my life was Raanjhana and after that, every film I have done has elements like that. So, for The Zoya Factor, I think Dulquer Salman will be very lucky for me."
Also, keeping with the film's concept of superstitions, Sonam Kapoor has decided to wear only red for the film's promotional events as red is considered auspicious by many. She explained her decision in a chat with mid-day saying, "The Zoya Factor is about the titular character being considered a good luck charm for India's cricket team at the World Cup. So why not go about the promotions the Zoya way? Also, red is considered an auspicious colour."
The Zoya Factor is being directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film is slated to release on September 20, 2019.
Angad Bedi was also spotted promoting The Zoya Factor in a swanky hotel in Juhu, Mumbai. The Inside Edge actor was casual-chic in a white t-shirt paired with white joggers and a denim jacket.
Talking about Angad's character, director Abhishek Sharma said in a chat with IANS: "Robin (Bedi) is the antagonist of the film, the ex-captain of the team who feels he has been shortchanged by Dulquer's character because he was replaced as captain overnight for one bad series."
Sharma further said, "For Robin, we were hunting for an actor who could look suave yet threatening. He should be an alpha male who, like a wounded lion, is struggling to win back his territory. Angad had all these qualities and more! He brought in an extra charm and sense of vulnerability which masks his villainy perfectly."
