In an exclusive chat with mid-day, Irani spoke about her experience of shooting it: "Obviously there's palpable excitement since this is our first film, we are excited and anxious. The trailer has received a fantastic response, everyone who has seen the trailer has messaged me, saying it looks great. Even the songs are getting a great response."
Shivam Bhargava, who is making his debut through the film said, "When he was writing this story, he may have kept me in mind and his casting director got in touch with me. I've done another film before this, Siddhartha, which hasn't released yet, Vikram sir saw some rushes, called me and said we'll surely work together."
Vikram Bhatt got the idea to make Ghost when he read a newspaper article about a true story of a British court allowing a matter involving spirits to be tried. The film will take you on the riveting journey of Karan Khanna, who has been accused of killing his wife, but believes she has been murdered by a spirit.
Speaking about it in an earlier interview, Bhatt said, "Ghost is one of the scariest films I have worked on. The tight script of the film coupled with great editing has put together a story that will have the viewers grasping their seats in fear. The trailer is out now and we hope we are able to deliver to the expectations of the people."
