Priyanka Chopra is set to make her Bollywood comeback after a hiatus of three years. Last seen in Jai Gangajal, the Quantico actress was supposed to be a part of Salman Khan-starrer Bharat, but she backed out of the project. The actress started shooting for Shonali Bose's directorial venture The Sky Is Pink last year in July, and finally, the entire cast has wrapped up the schedule. Priyanka Chopra opted for a satin white dress, paired with yellow peep-toe ankle length boots. She completed her look with nude makeup, and Priyanka looked breathtakingly beautiful when snapped by the shutterbugs at the bash hosted in Bandra, Mumbai. For the unversed, Priyanka moved to New York for the TV series Quantico, and also made her Hollywood debut with Baywatch in 2017.
Priyanka Chopra will be seen with Farhan Akhtar in this film. This will be the second instance of Farhan and Priyanka sharing screen space. The two-actor were seen together in Zoya Akhtar's 2015 directorial Dil Dhadakne Do. Before Dil Dhadakne Do, Priyanka collaborated with the actor for Don and Don 2, which was directed and produced by him.
Talking about The Sky Is Pink, best known for directing the critically-acclaimed Margarita, With A Straw, Shonali Bose has written the film and will helm the project. The Hindi dialogues of the film have been written by October scribe Juhi Chaturvedi and Nilesh Maniyar has been credited with the additional screenplay.

Ronnie Screwvala also said in an interview: "Strong scripts based on true-life stories are rare and then having the perfect team is rarer. This is going to be a very special movie and having Shonali, PC, Farhan and Zaira together, I can’t wait for 2019 to see it come alive."
The Sky Is Pink revolves around the story of a young girl Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13. Zaira Wasim will be essaying the role of Aisha, whereas Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar will play her parents in the movie.

Based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with an immune deficiency order at the age of 13, the movie is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under his home banner Roy Kapur Films.
Priyanka Chopra also shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, and the actress captioned: Expressing her love for the movie and the kind of bond she shared with her co-actors, Chopra wrote, "And it's a wrap. This movie is special to me on so many levels. Not just because Siddharth Roy Kapur and RSVP movies (Sid and Ronnie) partnered with me on my first Hindi production.. but also took the chance on me to bring to life a character and a true story that needed to be told."
