The makers of PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on India's Prime Minister, hosted a special screening of the Vivek Oberoi-starrer at a popular multiplex in Juhu. The film’s lead Vivek graced the event along with his wife Priyanka Alva. PM Narendra Modi, which released this Friday faced multiple hurdles in its journey to the theatres. It was set to release on April 11 but was banned by the Election Commission as it violated the Model Code of Conduct during elections.

For the event, Ankita Lokhande opted for a black dotted shirt and white pants happily posing for the photographers. In an interview, when Vivek Oberoi was asked about his film, he said, "This film has been the most exciting yet difficult journey for me. Playing the part of the serving Prime Minister of our country is a challenge in itself. Nobody can ever get into his shoes"
Actress and producer Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya Kumar Ghosla too graced the screening. The actor-director was seen wearing a floral patterned vibrant mini-length skirt and a beautiful red top and paired it with a set of golden high heels at the event
The movie is helmed by Omung Kumar who is known for directing Mary Kom biopic. The director was all praises for lead hero Vivek's dedication to the movie. He said, "I must say that Vivek has worked really hard to get where he has gotten with the character. It was a pleasure to see Vivek maturing into an artist to take on such a difficult role. He has put in a lot of homework."

Vivek Oberoi has still not left the character of his film. At the screening of his movie, Vivek was seen serving tea to the guests. Seems, Vivek has taken the character of Narendra Modi quite seriously!
On being termed a propaganda film, director Omung Kumar said, "It's not a propaganda film. Because it's coming out at this point of time, people are talking like that. People release their films on Diwali or Eid. I am releasing my film during this time (election time) because it's right time for me."

Shakti Kapoor also graced the movie screening. For the event, Shakti opted for a black metallic tee, black pants and white jacket. Apart from Vivek Oberoi, the biographical film also stars Zarina Wahab, Boman Irani Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Akshat R Saluja, and Anjan Shrivastav in pivotal roles.
Veteran actress Zarina Wahab attended the screening donning a beautiful cream coloured saree along with actor Sooraj Pancholi who opted for a white tee and black pants for the event. Zarina is playing the role of Narendra Modi's mother, Heeraben in the movie
