Looking back at the time of adoption, Sunny Leone had shared her experience, saying, "The moment we got the picture of Nisha, I was so excited, happy, emotional, and experienced so many different feelings. We literally had three weeks to finalise everything. Usually, people get nine months to prepare (laughs). I don't know about everybody else, but for us, it didn't matter even for a second whether it was our child or she not being our biological child. For us, it was about starting a family."
Sunny Leone had earlier admitted that her busy schedule had made having a biological child close to impossible for the actress. In fact, she had hoped to adopt a baby since she was a high school student. "The hardest thing was to figure if your life partner was willing to go along. I was lucky that Daniel instantly agreed, telling me it was a good idea. Motherhood is the most beautiful feeling," Sunny said.
Interestingly, Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber celebrate July 16 as "gotcha" anniversary with Nisha, as they welcomed the little angel on that day. Sunny shared this picture on Instagram in 2018 with a caption that read: "One year ago today our lives changed when we brought you home with us! Today is your one-year 'gotcha' anniversary and I can't believe it's only been one year because I feel I have known you a lifetime. You are a part of my heart and soul and the most beautiful baby girl in the world! I love you very much Nisha Kaur Weber!"
Sunny Leone had shared her experiences with mid-day about being a mother for the first time to her daughter Nisha in 2017. "She runs around the house, dancing and singing. She has tons of energy. We are just running after her all day," Leone says. Nisha used to imitate mommy and used to sneak into Leone's room when the actor was readying for a shoot and applying makeup.

Like all new parents, Sunny Leone too used to relive moments she would spend with Nisha by scrolling through her pictures and videos at the end of each day. "It's important that we are completely involved in her upbringing. Every night, after we put her to bed, we check the photos we have clicked through the day," Leone said.
After adopting daughter Nisha Kaur Weber, Sunny Leone and husband Daniel Weber became proud parents to twin boys Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber, who were born via surrogacy in February 2018. Nisha now has not one, but two younger siblings!
Sunny Leone had said in an interview with mid-day that after the arrival of Asher and Noah, Nisha started showing empathy towards the twins. "It's nice to see her acting as an elder sister," Leone said.
When asked if the family is complete now, Sunny told mid-day, "We had been planning it for many years, but were waiting for the right time. We found out about our three children on the same day - we got an official confirmation letter of Nisha's adoption on June 21, the same day that we were doing the IVF transfer of the boys. It was like God had planned something special for us. In eight months, we had three kids. We've been wanting to have kids for long and now, we are one big happy family. Our life has changed for the better. This is like the biggest hit story of our lives."
Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber started talking to Nisha about her twin brothers months before they were born, to prepare her. The couple got her twin baby boy dolls and started telling her how she was going to be a big sister to Noah and Asher soon.
Some of that did register in the little one's mind as Daniel recorded a video where Nisha has taken Noah in her lap and was cuddling him. Perhaps, it came easily to her because her parents taught her how to hold a baby when they got her those baby dolls.
When Nisha turned four in 2019, her doting parents planned the special day by hosting a Frozen-themed party for the little one. Daniel Weber's mother Tzipora Weber too was in attendance.

On July 16, 2020, Sunny Leone and her family celebrated Nisha's Gotcha Day. Posting a few happy moments from the celebratory day, she wrote in the caption, "3 years ago you chose us...us to be your mama & papa...to trust us to take care of you...to show us what real love is...the second I laid eyes on you, I knew you were my daughter. Today I look at you and I see a glimpse of the strong independent woman you will become. After this year I know you will have many questions but I will be there every step of the way while we figure it out together. I love you Nisha and Happy "Gotcha" Day. You are the light in our lives and the reason for all our joy every day!! [sic]"
