Singer Neha Kakkar tied the knot with Punjabi singer-actor Rohanpreet Singh on October 24. The newly-wed couple was spotted at the Mumbai Airport along with their family. (All pictures: Yogen Shah).
Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh on Saturday tied the knot as per the Sikh wedding ceremony Anand Karaj. Videos and pictures started doing the rounds on the internet soon afterward. In the snapshots and clips, Neha and Rohanpreet seek blessings at a Gurdwara in the city. Neha wore a peach lehenga while Rohanpreet wore a matching kurta and turban. Neha's brother, composer-singer Tony Kakkar, shared a video on Instagram. In the clip, we can see guests dancing on dhol beats. A day ago, Neha had shared a few pictures from her haldi and mehndi ceremonies. "Mehendi Lagaungi Main Sajna @rohanpreetsingh Ke Naam Ki," she captioned the post.
Last Friday, the couple had a Haldi ceremony. In the pictures, the singer looked stunning in a plain yellow sari while Rohanpreet complemented her look in a yellow kurta. A few days back, the singer had shared pictures and videos of her Roka ceremony. Sharing the video on her Instagram, the singer wrote, "#NehuDaVyah video releases tomorrow. Till then here's a small gift for my NeHearts and #NehuPreet lovers. Here's our roka ceremony clip! I love Rohanpreet Singh and family. Thank you Mrs Kakkar and Mr Kakkar... Hehe... I mean Mom-Dad... Thank you for throwing the best event (sic)"
Ranveer Singh was also clicked at the airport. The Bajirao Mastani actor opted for a black t-shirt and leopard printed pants. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the actor wore a blue mask.
On the work front, Ranveer is gearing up for films like 83, Takht, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and a film with Zoya Akhtar starring Katrina Kaif. He's also expected to reunite with Rohit Shetty for the remake of the classic comedy, Angoor. Reportedly, the actor will be playing a double role in the film. This would be the first double role for the leading man.
Nora Fatehi was all smiles posing for the paparazzi at the same location. On the work front, Nora was last seen showing off her dance moves in the music video Nach Meri Rani. She was teamed up with Punjabi singer-actor Guru Randhawa. Nach Meri Rani has been composed and written by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Guru Randhawa and Nikhita Gandhi.
Before this, Nora was seen judging India's Best Dancer for a few weeks, replacing Malaika Arora who had got infected with COVID-19. After recovering from the deadly virus, Malaika resumed the shoot. The cast and crew gave Nora a warm send-off.
