In Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Seema Khan and Bhavana Pandey, wives of Sanjay Kapoor, Samir Soni, Sohail Khan and Chunky Pandey will give a glimpse of their homes and lives, giving a sneak peek into what it takes to be oh-so-fabulous. The show premiered on Netflix on November 27, 2020. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan also make a cameo in the show.
Maheep Kapoor looked gorgeous in her black dress when clicked by the photographers. Recently, in an interview, the star wife said that her guilty pleasure is to keep a track of things happening in her neighbourhood.
"I am not a stalker but it is my guilty pleasure to check up on my Juhu neighbourhood. The other day, I knew about the fight that was happening and I usually know what my neighbour is cooking. I just have to check out the Juhu neighbourhood," Maheep said.
Maheep is the mother of two kids - daughter Shanaya and son Jahaan. There has been a lot of talks about the debut of Khushi and Shanaya Kapoor. In a recent interview, Sanjay Kapoor talked about the debut of her daughter and said, "It has been delayed by the on-going pandemic, but we are hopeful that it will happen very soon." The Sirf Tum actor had also taken to his Instagram account recently to congratulate Shanaya for starting her journey as an assistant director with Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
Karan Johar was snapped at Seema Khan's residence in Bandra. The web show ran into a controversy when director Madhur Bhandarkar accused Karan of twisting the title of his upcoming film. Bhandarkar, who has the rights to Bollywood Wives, had sent a notice to Johar, asking for a change in title. Madhur Bhandarkar had announced Bollywood Wives in 2016 and the film project is under development. Johar, meanwhile, announced a web series production, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives.
Later, Karan issued a clarification and apologised to Bhandarkar for the "grievances" caused over the title. Johar posted that he "did not foresee" that it "would upset" Bhandarkar. While accepting KJo's apology, Bhandarkar wrote, "The fact that you went and used the title despite our conversation hurt me deeply. This is not how real relationships work, but let's move forward."
