Suman Rao, who helms from Rajasthan, was crowned Femina Miss India 2019 on Saturday, June 15. The 22-year-old was crowned by her predecessor Anukreethy Vas, Miss India 2019. Suman will now represent India at Miss World 2019 pageant to be held in Pattaya, Thailand on 7 December 2019. Femina Miss India 2019 is the 56th edition of Miss India beauty pageant.
Nora Fatehi, who was also one of the performers of the Miss India event, opted for a mesh black off-shoulder gown to walk the red carpet. She surely made the heads turn with her elegance and panache.
The prestigious event was adjudged by Bollywood choreographer Remo D'Souza alongside actress Huma Qureshi, Chitrangada Singh, fashion designer Falguni Shane Peacock and Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri among others.

Soundarya Sharma also walked the red carpet in a red gown. On the work front, Soundarya made her Bollywood debut with Ranchi Diaries.
Neha Dhupia, who is currently hosting the talk show BFF's with Vogue, Season 3, also walked the red carpet in a blue gown. The last guests on the BFF's couch were Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, who promoted the film Kabir Singh, which is slated to hit the silver screen on June 21.
Manushi Chillar, Femina Miss India 2017 winner opted for mustard coloured off-shoulder thigh-high slit satin gown for the evening.
Huma Qureshi showed off her bossy side in this black and white embellished pantsuit with plunging neckline. On the work front, Huma is currently basking into the success of her web show Leila, a dystopic drama.
Vicky Kaushal looked dapper in this all-black suit he opted for Miss India 2019 event, hosted at a popular auditorium in South Mumbai. On the work front, Vicky will be next seen in Sardar Udham Singh, Ticket to Bollywood, Takht and Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship.
Aayush Sharma, who made his Bollywood debut opposite Warina Hussain with Loveyatri, walked the red carpet in a blue suit. On the work front, the actor will be next seen in Karan Lalit Bhutani's Kwatha.
Dhvani Bhanushali opted for a silver sequin top, paired with a denim skirt for the Miss India event.
Harshvardhan Rane also attended Femina Miss India 2019 at his casual best. The actor opted for an Aztec print jacket, paired with black pants and ankle length lace-up boots.
