Ananya Panday: Chunky Panday's daughter made her debut with Punit Malhotra's Student of the Year 2, that released on May 10. Ananya has also bagged a major role in Pati Patni Aur Woh, an adaptation of B.R. Chopra's 1978 film with the same title. The debutant is already a teen sensation on social media.
Tara Sutaria: She is the newest 'student', being launched by Karan Johar. Tara forayed into the world of Bollywood with Punit Malhotra's Student Of The Year 2. She has trained in classical ballet, modern dance and Latin American dance. Interestingly, she began to sing from the age of seven. Well, many don't know that the talented Tara Sutaria has crooned tracks in the films Taare Zameen Par, Guzaarish and David.
Pranutan Bahl: A spate of star kids geared up to make their debut on the silver screen in 2019 and actor Mohnish Bahl's daughter was one of them. Pranutan kick-started her Bollywood innings this year with superstar Salman Khan's production Notebook, which released last month. Unfortunately, the film failed to impress the audience at the Box Office.
Zaheer Iqbal: Launched by Salman Khan in the film industry, Zaheer Iqbal made his Bollywood debut with Notebook. The film, which released in March, however, couldn't make a mark at the Box Office. Notebook was produced by Salman Khan Films along with Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios. It was directed by Nitin Kakkar.
Karan Deol: Actor-filmmaker Sunny Deol's son Karan will make his debut with the film titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Directed by Sunny himself, the film's title is taken from Sunny's father and veteran actor Dharmendra's famous song 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas' from the movie Blackmail, which released in 1973. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is set to hit theatres on September 20, 2019.
Sahher Bambba: Featuring in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, she mde her debut in Bollywood alongside Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol. Bambba considers herself fortunate enough to "be part of a film in any capacity". It's not an opportunity easily afforded to a newcomer, she reiterated.
Saiee Manjrekar: Famous actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Saiee stepped into Bollywood with Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg 3. While Mahesh Manjrekar played Sonakshi Sinha's character, Rajjo's father, who passes away in Dabangg, in the third installment of the franchise the newbie plays Khushi, a new addition to the Dabangg team.
Ankita Lokhande: She made her mark in the Television industry with the show Pavitra Rishta and almost a decade later, Ankita Lokhande made her Bollywood debut with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She essayed the role of Jhalkari Bai, a fierce woman warrior who used to disguise as Rani Laxmibai and fight with the enemies.
Meezaan Jaaferi: Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan made his Bollywood debut with Malaal. Meezaan, who worked with Bhansali as an assistant director on "Bajirao Mastani", has studied filmmaking from Visual Arts in New York. He had enrolled at the Franklin and Marshal University in Pennsylvania. Interestingly, Bhansali had earlier launched star kids Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in Saawariya, who also worked as assistant directors with him.
Sharmin Segal: She too made her debut in Malaal, alongside Meezaan Jaaferi. Sharmin Segal is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece. She also worked as the assistant director on Bajirao Mastani.
Karan Kapadia: Dimple Kapadia's nephew and Twinkle Khanna's cousin Karan made his Bollywood debut with Blank, which released on May 3. An action-thriller, Blank revolved around the life of a suicide bomber, essayed by Karan. It also starred Sunny Deol. Akshay Kumar had shot a special song for his brother-in-law Karan Kapadia film, helmed by Behzad Khambata.
Abhimanyu Dassani: Maine Pyar Kiya actress Bhagyashree's son Abhimanyu Dassani's Bollywood debut Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota hit theatres in March 2019. The film, directed by Vasan Bala, raked in critical acclaims from across quarters. Post its Indian release, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota released Internationally in countries like Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, South Africa, Japan to name a few.
Nandish Singh Sandhu: Nandish Singh, popularly known for his role as Veer in the popular Television show Uttaran, made his Bollywood debut with Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30. The actor played Hrithik's on-screen brother – Pranav Kumar, in the biopic, which is based on mathematician Anand Kumar.
Vardhan Puri:Amrish Puri's grandson made his Bollywood debut with Yeh Saali Aashiqui, a romantic thriller, backed by producer Jayantilal Gada. Vardhan treats his late grandfather as his guru and says whatever he does will be for his grandfather. "Dadu is the God whom I pray to. I was so close to him that I would sleep between him and my grandmother. When he passed away, for me it was like losing the protective cover of an umbrella. It was then, that I decided that if I do something, it would be for my grandfather and this film is an ode to him," recalled the debutant.
Shivaleeka Oberoi: She made her Bollywood debut with Yeh Saali Zindagi, alongside Vardhan. Yeh Saali Aashiqui, her first movie released a few days ago and she is already shooting for her second film Khuda Haafiz in Uzbekistan.
Siddhant Chaturvedi: After making his acting debut with web-show Inside Edge in 2017, Siddhant made his Bollywood debut with Ranveer Singh-starrer Gully Boy. His character MC Sher went on to win accolades by critics and audiences across the nation.
Nithya Menen: The popular south Indian actress made her Bollywood debut with Mission Mangal, which starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, and Sharma Joshi in pivotal roles. She played a very important part in the film as Varsha is the woman behind the name M.O.M: Mars Orbiter Mission.
Vishal Jethwa: The Television actor made his Bollywood debut with Rani Mukerji-starrer Mardaani 2. His identity was kept under wraps for the longest period, as Vishal played a young criminal who rapes and murders women in Kota.
