For the unversed, Section 375 will be the closing film at the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (Sg.SAIFF). Directed by Ajay Bahl, the film revolves around Section 375 of Indian Penal Code laws and explores the issue of sexual harassment.

"The film is about creating a meaningful dialogue in society about the rape law in India and it is fitting that its journey starts at a prestigious film festival," Richa Chadha said in an interview with PTI.

Akshaye Khanna also said: "I am happy that the film has been picked to be the closing film at Sg.SAIFF... It is an amazing platform to showcase the hard work and passion that has gone into crafting this film and my personal journey in playing this character which has so many shades and nuances."
Not only this, but Richa Chadha also said in an interview with mid-day: "The government is doing its bit by setting up more Mahila courts [in the country] that tackle crimes against women. Such courts are also being presided over by female judges."
The film shows actress Richa Chadha playing the character of a public prosecutor who fights to bring justice to her client who has accused a filmmaker of allegedly raping her.
