Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh falls prey to online death hoax after reports and images of him lying in hospital go viral on social networking site

Bollywood’s latest heartthrob Yo Yo Honey Singh seems to have 'truly arrived'. While the singer-turned-actor is the toast of B-Town after delivering hits like 'Lungi Dance', has inadvertently join an elite list of celebs like Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber and Amitabh Bachchan on Monday after falling prey to an online death hoax.

There were reports of the Punjabi rapper, who was last seen as an actor in Himesh Reshammiya's 'The Xpose', being involved in a fatal accident with even pictures circulating that showed a heavily injured Honey Singh lying dead on a hospital bed. The pictures went viral on social networking sites and led to the singer's fake death rumour sending fans on Twitter into a frenzy.
Responding to the rumours, the rapper tweeted, "News of YoYo's accident is a fake rumour must be spread by some haters. Please don't bother and Keep blessing YoYo."

It is believed that the viral picture is a snapshot taken from his song 'Bring Me Back'. Honey Singh is currently believed to be in Dubai.
However, this is not the first time that a celebrity has become victim of a hoax demise rumour. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Lata Mangeshkar, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Parekh, Hrithik Roshan and Ayushmann Khurrana have been victims of death hoax.
