He is called AJ. No, we are not talking of Ajay Devgan in 'Action Jackson', but of the music reality show X Factor finalist Amit Jadhav and his singing and dance act titled 'This Is AJ'.

The high-tech LED graphics act  is staged at weddings. In just three years, AJ has done 500 plus shows in India and abroad. “Wedding shows are my favourite,” confesses Amit. “The energy of the happy crowd at a wedding is so encouraging that I sometimes stay on stage belting out songs after songs for hours without realising how much time has passed.”

He adds, “As I love performing live on stage, I did not concentrate on playback singing.”

During X Factor, Amit Jadhav had been nicknamed AJ as he is greatly influenced by Michael Jackson in his performance style. Even the judges felt that AJ was a complete performer who not only sang, but did Michael Jackson’s moonwalk and spin well. Amit therefore retained the name AJ for his shows.
